Isimeme Whyte is an accomplished, passionate, and dedicated Tech Enthusiast, Social entrepreneur, Migration Expert, Senior Consultant, and Brand Development Executive, in Social Development with more than twenty (22) years of multi-sector experience in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET programs,experience in EdTech, government/NGO partnerships, entrepreneurship, community advocacy, and engagement.
She is a business coach and growth strategist with a record of helping over 6,000 business startups scale from the ideation to the testing stage using technology-driven strategies. Her work has also been recognized by the UN Women as a woman driving technology and innovations in the technology industry and contributing to the advancement of gender equality and women’s empowerment in Nigeria. She has also bagged the Golden Jubilee Award for Excellence by the Christian Women Fellowship International (CWFi) for her contributions to society in EdTech, Entrepreneurship, Community Advocacy, Migration and Digital Transformation in the MSME sector.

She is the founder and Chief Innovation Officer of Genius Hub, a social enterprise, and a member of the board of Genius Hub Global Initiative. She is the initiator of the CEOs’ Meeting. Isimeme is the founder and also a member of the board of trustees of Conference of NGOs (CONGOs) in Edo State and the Lady Mechanic Initiative. She is Vice President of the Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT), Nigeria; member of Edo State Exporters Cluster; Coordinator of Edo State Women Entrepreneurship Platform; coordinator of the Association of Nigerian Businesswomen Network, Edo state. She is a GOPA-certified ICSS (Inspire, Create, Start and Scale) Entrepreneurship Program TFC (Trainer, Facilitator,
and Coach) and also participated in the Training of Trainers by the International Labour Organisation on ILO’s Cooperative Development Tools (Think. Coop, Start. Coop and My. Coop). In addition to her social development work, Isimeme has held several key public service roles, including Executive Secretary to Esan-West Local Government in Edo State, Senior Special Assistant to the Edo State Government on World Bank Matters, and a Social Accountability Officer for SEEFR(State Employment Expenditure for Result) a World Bank Assisted Project in Nigeria.

She has served as a State Coordinator for the Association of Nigerian Women in Business Network. She has been recognized by The Iconic Brand Awards as a member of the Hall of Icons, 2023 as well as an award for Corporate Brand of the Year and Distinctive Positive Value Awards. Isimeme has a BSc. in Microbiology from the prestigious University of Benin, she has a certification in Monitoring and Evaluation from RIPA International UK, a Certificate in Digital Marketing from Great School, and certificates in Project Management, and Policy Development & Advocacy from the University of Washington. She doubles as an award-winning filmmaker and has produced about 27 movies so far. Her groundbreaking work has culminated in the creation of Ewaen Studios, a movie streaming platform designed for edutainment, impact and counselling where viewers can watch a movie and get a support system to expand the reach of socially impactful films on behavioural change. Ewaen Studio has trained over 945 persons who has also been employed via this innovation developed by Isimeme Whyte. She is known for her work in utilizing entertainment to drive social change and address issues such as irregular migration, human trafficking drug abuse, corruption, domestic violence, SGBV, inequality, education, etc.

She is the founder of Tech Women in Business and Leadership (TWIBL) a network and support system for women in technology, business, and leadership. TWIBL is dedicated to promoting equity, and diversity and providing growth opportunities. She is the founder of Green Seven Hubs which is a coalition of seven strategic social networks committed to providing entertainment whilst promoting rich cultural heritage, sustainability, climate, and environmental preservation in the areas of Green Technology, Green Tourism, Green Culture, Green Ceremonies, Green Travel, Green Environment and Green Energy.

She serves as a liaison, bridging gaps between socio-economic and governmental communities, demonstrating astute experience as an administrator in crisis management, personnel management, policy development, community engagement, field and data coordination, research monitoring and evaluation, development of modeling techniques, operational improvement processes, and international collaborations.
Through her visionary leadership, Genius Hub has facilitated digital skills training and entrepreneurship development programs for over 16,000 beneficiaries and counting including youths, women, and returned irregular migrants and survivors of human trafficking in Edo state. Genius Hub has also established regional offices in Lagos, Kano, and Rwanda and is expanding to other parts of Africa.

She serves in a leadership position, providing mentorship and support for MSMEs and startups. She is an advocate for digital inclusion for women as well as girls as she has served as the lead on various initiatives training women and girls on digital skills. She is a tech enthusiast leading digital transformation in the MSME sector with a focus on leveraging technology.
